Making good after re wiring
At RENOVO RENOVATIONS AND DECORATING LTD, we offer you our full plaster repair service, re plaster the electrical chases after your house has been rewired. Lets face it, Electrician's dislike plastering and will often leave the making good for the customer to fill in. We will leave them seamless ready for painting and decorating even offering you our full painting and decorating services.
Plasterboard installation
We can offer plasterboard installation service in the form of dot n dabbing the existing walls and skimming the boards or plaster boarding over a timber frame and then skimming the boards.
We can undertake the stud wall installation and the fitting of any insulation as part of our carpentry services, in fact we can carry out the complete project
Plastering over Artex
Artex, we all had it. It covered a multitude of sins and in its day was a modern alternative to the flat ceilings, we now have. It was first used in the U.K. in 1935 but became more widely used in the
1960's, to being extremely popular in the 80's and 90's. Now we all want to get rid of it, over the years, we have mixed and applied many bags to ceilings and walls creating many different patterns. Did you know it can contain Asbestos !! and can de value your property, with buyers putting in a lower offer or can create reduced interest, potentially increasing the time it takes to sell. Even if the Artex is free of asbestos, potential buyers want flat ceilings.
At Renovo we can help
If the ceiling is tested free of asbestos, we can carry out full re skimming, giving you a smooth finish ready to paint. If the Artex is tested positive for asbestos, the ceiling can be removed by a specialist contractor and then we can re plaster board and give the ceiling a re skim, giving you a fresh new asbestos free ceiling with your property potentially being valued higher and easier to sell.
Again we can offer you our full Painting and Decorating services and undertake the complete job all under one roof without having to look for different trades.
At this moment in time Renovo are unable to offer the asbestos test or ceiling removal, but plans are in the pipeline to be able to offer this service.
